We at Applied Signs strive to give the customer a quality product at a fair price. In a world where everything is “Fast” this and “Rama” that, we take the time to listen to our customers. It is not always about “get it out the door as fast as possible,” but more about developing and making a sign that will serve your business the best way possible and within your budget. Our goal is: when you get a sign from Applied Signs we’ll help you determine what will work best for your signage needs. We also believe in supporting local business as much as possible and have been Sonoma County GoLocal members for the past five years.
Company Bio
As the owner of Applied Signs I have been in the sign business since 1982, when I started my training as a sign writer under my father’s guidance in Dublin, Ireland. After a thorough apprenticeship I obtained a City and Guilds of London Institute degree in sign work, which covered gilding, sign writing, sign design, spray painting, fabrication, woodworking, and much more. In Ireland I ran my own sign company, Signworks, back in the 1980s. Then I moved to Sydney, Australia, where I worked as a sign writer for a number of different companies. I moved to the United States in 1994 and worked for different sign companies in San Francisco. I opened Applied Signs in Santa Rosa in 2006.
